We
had an AWESOME time at ASCA Nationals:
- A-CH Hearthside If Looks Could
Kill ("Eli" owns Brian
Hyde) was awarded First Place in the Altered
Invitational. The Invitational
was the top 30 dogs in the nation. The Invitational was judged by
a prestigious panel of judges in tuxedos and formal gowns. A presentation
like nothing else at Nationals!!
The next day Eli went on to be the first of
10 Premiere Dogs in the
Nationals show.
- A-CH Hearthside Look at Me
Aliyah ("Cricket", owned
by Lynne and Larry Skinner) was awarded Fifth Place in the Altered
Invitational. And was also awarded a top ten
Premiere in the National
Show. In additon, Cricket was one of only 5 dogs to earn a Premiere
at the High Plains ASC pre-show on Sunday!
- Hearthside Lookin' To Score ("Player", owned
by Nan Bonnell) thrilled his owner by winning Altered
Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's at the National Show.
- Hearthside Apple of My Eye ("Pippin", owned
by Lisa Williams) won first place in the American
Bred Altered Class.
She was beautifully handled by Lisa.
- Hearthside Shopping Spree ("Spree", owned
by Betsy Atkinson & handled
by Sarah Appleton) won first place in 4-6 Blue
Merle Puppy Bitches over an impressive entry.
- Hearthside Ready Set Go ("Chase", owned
by Susan Winters) was awarded Best Opposite
Sex of Breed Puppy!
- Hearthside Say No More ("Hush", owned
by Betsy Atkinson and handled by Brian Hyde) placed second
in the 12-18 month bitches in a class of 37 entries.
- Hearthside Say it Again ("Replay," owned
and Handled by De Angelo) placed 4th in the
12-18 month dog class of
32 entries.
- Hearthside Bet Your Sweet Bippie ("Bippie," owned
and Handled by Kim Gregg) won 2nd place in the
Open Black Bitches.
- Hearthside Howlyn Sundance ("Ceili," owned
and shown by Linda Howell) was awarded FIRST Place in a very competitive
Open Blue Bitch class .
- Ch. Hearthside Standing Ovation ("Bravo," owned by Kelly Gaunt and Kathleen
Francis) was awarded a top 10 Premiere award at the National speciality.
- Ch. Hearthside Made Ya Look
CD with Odette Fetzner was awarded 4th
place in Open A Obedience with 17 entries. She went on to win 4th
place in Novice Jumpers Agility out of nearly 100 entries!!!
- Ch. Hearthside Made Ya Giggle made
her agility debut at ASCA Nationals in her first run EVER. She blew
us all away in Novice Standard with a clean
run placing 6th out of
140 entries.
- Hearthside Live Wire (owned
and presented by Sue Bartleson) also had a qualifying
score in agility.
