Hunter's Fund

Our dear friend Hunter Atkinson was granted his "ultimate cure" when he passed on from this life on July 21. 2003. Although Dami and I are devastated by the loss of this amazing young man, we have been truly touched by Hunter, and the incredible people who surrounded him. Hunter had many dreams and aspirations which he unfortunatley never had time to achieve. One hope that he always had faith in was the possibility of a cure for Wilm's Tumor. Hunter's Fight has finally come to peace, so we have decided to start a fund in his honor, which will go directly to Wilm's Cancer research. Through Hunter's Fund, Dami and I hope to help other children with this disease, and keep Hunter's message of love, peace and faith alive.

Dami and I had the honor of playing the new version of "Hunter's Song" at his service. The song "Wieght of an Angel" tumbled out after I had a great conversation with Hunter and Mariah's Grandmother, Grace.
